Every family wants to have a bathroom that is organised, easy to use, and uncluttered. Unfortunately, many people have bathrooms that are small and cramped and very difficult to organise. At The Bathroom Workshop, we understand the frustration that some homeowners feel when trying to organise their space. To keep the bathroom from becoming hopelessly cluttered, there are a few things that you need to do.
Take Care of the Drawers
Bathrooms that have drawers instantly have more storage space than ones that don’t, but this also means that this storage space can easily become cluttered. It’s a good idea to try to tidy up the drawers with baskets, containers, or a drawer divider. This makes it possible to keep small items contained so that they don’t get lost underneath larger items. Hairbrushes, curling irons, tweezers, and nail clippers can all be stored together with a little extra care.
Turn Your Attention to the Cupboards
All too often, homeowners allow the cupboards in their bathroom to become hopelessly cluttered. It’s obvious that a cupboard needs some attention when it becomes difficult to find a certain item once it’s stored. It’s a good idea to start by pulling everything out of the cupboards so that things can be organised by who uses them and then placed into labelled baskets or buckets. These buckets can then easily be removed and placed back in the cupboard when they are no longer needed, helping keep the space neat.
Get Creative
Just like with wet rooms, coming up with creative storage options is a great way to make the most of a bathroom. Pretty storage options can add personality to the space and make it feel much less boring and drab. We love the idea of using decorative bowls or trays to store small items, and even jewellery. We also recommend using decorative jars and bottles for bathroom toiletries and even opting for special shelving rather than simply using boring bathroom shelving.
Embrace the Awkward Space
Our team of professionals at The Bathroom Workshop has a lot of experience turning awkward spaces into ones that you can easily use, no matter the size of your bathroom. Smaller rooms will obviously require more creative arrangements when space is at a premium. We know how to add shelving above the toilet, in the corner, or even on the back of the door to add storage space. Instead of being disappointed by the lack of space in your bathroom, our team can help you embrace it.
As professional and experienced shower-room designers, all of our experts are here to help you plan, design, and execute the bathroom of your dreams. No matter how much room you have, what storage needs you want to talk about, or what creative additions you desire, we’re here for you. There’s no bathroom that we can’t help tame, making your time spent in this room as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. We’ll work hard to ensure that your entire family is in love with your new space and that it exceeds your expectations.
